Up for sale is a 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk Race Car. It has a clear title. It runs and drives. It just completed a race in Alabama at Barber. The car is located in Cocoa Florida.
The good news is that it is has not been butchered and retains it's vintage suspension so it can be entered in vintage races. The brakes are upgraded in front to 11 inch disc brakes. The master cylinder has also been converted to a twin bowl from a 71 Plymouth manual with directional couplers. The Engine is a very strong Chrysler 360 with a 727 automatic transmission. 750 Edelbrock Carburetor. Dual plane manifold and 8 3/4 rearend.
The cage is 6 points with spreaders attached to frame mounting points and 26 inch spreaders. The cage is made from 1.75 DOM @ .120 wall thickness. If you know nothing about roll Cages this cage will pass most all sanctioning bodies in the US and abroad.

Make no mistake this is a race car and purpose built. I can assist with loading or come pick it up. I recommend viewing this car in person or look at the photos carefully.
